How do I connect the code with the watch face?

Hi Guys,

I am new to this development framework.
I looked at Samsung documentation and I don’t see how I can bundle the code with a watch face.
Has this to be a two step type of development:

  • Create watch face with Watch Faces Studio
  • Include this project part of an Android Watch project

Welcome! Watch Face Studio (WFS) is designed to be the complete package from design to publish. You can design your faces with it and you can add some limited “code-like” functionality by using Tag Expressions, but there is no option to use real code (Java/Kotlin) in WFS.

I believe there are a few people here in this forum that have the knowledge to create watch face projects with Android Studio, but so far in my few months of experience here, it seems that information is not freely shared.
