I have not been active for a long time but recently got a new Galaxy Watch and decided to make some new faces.
When I was last using WFS I was running into all sorts of issues with Your Device isn’t compatible with this version errors from play store for anyone trying to download nightmare!
So my question is What versions of the SDK should I use to support most watches it seems to be hard set on current version of WFS when I publish 30 API30 ?
My other question is do I need to compile as AAB+APK or just AAB I’m not coding or adding any companion apps for phone here ?
Its depend on what WFS version u use:
WFS version 1.6.9. → All device is compatible(Wear os4, 5)
WFS versino 1.7.13 → It depend on what feature u add in ur wf.
IF without Weather related TAG, HR in complication… etc… it will auto select min SDK version 30, then watch with Wear OS4 and Wear OS5 is compatible

If without companion app, from the phone Google play, it will show “This phone isn’t compatible with this app”. Just click “See detail”, still can download wf from Available on more devices.
