We are providing a service using the HTML5 player.
Our company supports various clients and offers services such as disabling seek or download functionalities depending on client preferences. However, on Samsung Internet Browser, when transitioning to the native player, both downloading and seeking are enabled. We are looking for a way to block this behavior.
You are most likely referring to the “Video Assistant” feature of Samsung Internet browser that allows users to seek or download any video playing on Samsung Internet.
It is a built in feature of Samsung Internet and only the end user can enable/disable this feature manually (by going to Settings > Useful Features > Video assistant) as far as I know.
