"'jOW' is not recognized...." when building watchface

Hello, for the past few months I’ve been plagued by this error on multiple updates and reinstallations. Every time I try to build my watch face, I get this error after it finishes building

As a result, my watchface does not build the final product. Side issue, I can’t seem to get the program to recognize any devices on the network either. This is the log I get

I assume this happens when you try to build an example project as well as your own.

Two things to try.

Make sure the path of your project has no non standard characters and the same for the project and images in the project. Also for your keystore password.

Create a new Keystore.jks file and make sure it has only standard characters and the country code is a 2 letter code. For some reason that throws weird errors in the build.

Hopefully it is something simple like that.

Thanks! that seems to have fixed it. For those in the future with similar issues, I just changed my keystore password to only using alphanumeric characters. That fixed it for now. Using symbols seems to break it.

Seems kind of primitive. That should be fixed.

I found the Oracle documentation for it once you said what it is

Enter a new password for the keystore.

A valid password can contain 6 to 30 characters, begin with an alphabetic character, and use only alphanumeric characters and special characters like Underscore (_), Dollar ($), Pound (#). The password must contain at least one number.
