Open,cloesd and internal testing on Google play console

On Google play console there are 3 types for App testing , am only getting my watch face tested via Open testing.
What are the benefits of other 2 types of testing (Closed & internal) ?
i mean will it benefit my watch face on the rank on store or something ?

I believe these have to do with beta testing your app prior to being released.
