When using the openweathermap API on my watch face it shows a different city that the weather app on my Samsung watch shows. Actually most of the data is different, for example the current temperature is different. Is there any way to sync these 2, or pull the watch data from the Samsung weather app?
OpenWeather.org reports the weather station not the city itself. The weather is probably more accurate with the OpenWeather.org as it updates more frequently than the Watch weather app. The watch weather only updates once every 3 hours. It depends on which mobile app you use for weather how frequently it updates.
Samsung does not have a license that allows 3rd party designers to access the weather information. The last I heard they were working on it.
