His experience seems to verify mine that the display refresh rate is influenced by a multitude of different things and most of them are not documented.

My as long u set a low and high alerts it will alert when the bmp are those level. As it detect at rest heart rate
Different concepts though it will be same for all wear osā¦guess not
I have no low alert on my device.
To get ANY HEART RATE ALERT I must have an exercise tracker activated.
NOW in the ESSENTIAL LOW POWER Mode, I get Color Coded Alerts.
There is never an audible alert. Just Vibration

Correct, Samsung Watches use Samsung Health, Pixel watches use Google Health, I imagine TicWatch uses TicHealth for Wear OS

I can use GOOGLE HEALTH CONNECT but I choose not to because:
- I would have to put a lock screen on my tablet.
- It has lousy reviews since it is still in BETA
- It is Exercise centered and I am 74 with lung and heart issues so I donāt need those metrics.
- Mobvoi Health App gives me all I need to monitor my heart.

I just tested none of the range value complication can be used for heart rate. On my samsung gw 5

Interestingā¦ also seems quite strange that samsung didnāt make WFS able to do it on thier own watch.
This has nothing to do with Watch Face Studio it is the Health App that creates the complications. The Samsung health app does have a gradient heart rate progress bar that shows up when during some activity when you reach a heart rate range so it is possible.

I am trying to create a circular progress bar that displays the hour on one end and the minute on the other end. I can get it to display one but not both. I had this working on watchmaker but canāt seem to get it to work on WFS. Any one try anything like this?

You will have the Devils Job Woking the two Fills and Rotations . Why do you not try two bars that travel the 180 . I would be very intrested to see the Fill / Value and Angle / Rotation Formula you came up with in Lua .
I did the hour and minute with shader segment between and the seconds with a ring, using angle formulas.

Thanks figured it out. The only other thing I miss is being able to talk to change colors. I like to be able to have dynamic color change.

Sound to me that you are not working on WFS 1.7.9 . I do not know of any where on WFS we can use shaders . I do not want to talk to my watch but you are well ahead of the game if you are talking to yours to change colours . please link us to your Face when it is on the Store I dare say you can not share a .wfs file as it is not a .wfs file .
The talk part was a typo. The shaders comment was about watchmaker.

Oh I see . No Criticism Implied . Yes It would be so good to change Colours with a Formula . I have done a bit of Work with Arduinos and Addressable LED Strings . I liked doing that stuff . Making Watch Faces has taken over . When you talked of using Shaders I thought you might be talking about the sort of thing you can make on Programmes like GODOT .
About you hrs minute progress
Do you mean that they stem from the 6 oāclock position . Or the head of the progress is the hours and the tail is the Minutes Shrinking towards the head . I will have a go for you . If I can not crack it I know a couple of guys that can . One does this sort of stuff in his Sleep , Literally . But as my Design Tutor used to say If you get the Brief right the Job Designers itself . I have spent lots of time making Rests here and there . They are not Appreciated and rarely any thanks in it .

Yes. Thatās what I want and have done it. I used two progress bars, one to display when the hour has a larger angle than the minute and the other when the min has a larger angle than the hour. It worked flawless. You do have to do a little math and set opacity to the other when one is active but it works as it did before.
All my watch faces are abstract minimalists like this. I have all the ZIIIROS faces ans some custom ones I made. I just have to remake them all on WFS.
