Yeah… I’ve always admired Samsung and thought it was a well-organized company. However, they made us run for 30 days to update our apps in vain. We spent hours of work that could be used to create new apps that would generate new experiences for our users.
In addition to all the DUNS Number import problems, which has been a pertinent issue here on the forum for over a year.
Looking from the outside, you can see that maybe something is wrong.
Yes, I do understand. I am not sure that the tech writer understood the API level well enough. Until you brought it up, and pointed out the mistake, I was just going by the Notice.
The changes were done to improve the system or in case of the Android API to comply with EU regulations.

Related to recently notice also about “Notification for termination of Edge panel apps”.
I’m not fully understand with plan of Samsung.
As they said “Existed Edge app will be maintained and can’t update from December 5. If you want to end the sale of your Edge panel apps, please access your Seller Portal dashboard and suspend or terminate your apps”
Why they mention about suspend or terminate app ?
Will all EDGE applications be removed ?
After completing the update plan, can we continue to update Edge App or must develop a new application ?
Can you ask and give us more information for that ?

I’ll see what I can find out, but I think they are just being replaced by Android Widgets.
Can you open a new topic in the Seller Portal Forum
Because of a bug you have to do this from the Forum Home and then use the pencil beside the title to move it to the correct forum.

Regarding EDGE apps in the Store
The EDGE Apps will continue to be in the store and people with EDGE enabled devices will see them and can download them.
However, after December 5th you cannot update the EDGE apps any longer so if there is a bug or other issue you probably should suspend or Delete them
I don’t know when the Android Widgets will replace EDGE in OneUI or anything about developing for them.
