Rotate image anticlockwise

Is it possible to rotate an image anticlockwise as smoothly as a watch hand on sweep?

Thanks so much,
Josh

You can add second hand element and swap there your image

and simply switch its rotation direction. Trouble is there is no other movement attribute that can be changed when sweep is is checked.

I’m sorry, I don’t really understand how you’ve explained it. Could anyone else clarify this?

What Peter is saying is you have to Cheat . You put your Image in for a Seconds Hand in an Onboard Analogue Clock Layer . Then you select the Counter Clock Wise option . If you search for Topic on Smooth Scrolling you will see we have talked about this a lot .

If you want some image to rotate smooth like second hand, yet anticlockwise, then you go like this:

  1. prepare your image somewhere on your harddisk where you can find it.
  2. start WFS and open your project or start new one
  3. click add new component (button with plus sign)
  4. pick analog hand
  5. pick second hand
  6. pick any premade image, or browse for location of your desired image
  7. set rotation to sweep and to CCW, which means counter clockwise, on the properties table on the right side (see second image in my first post)
  8. if you picked any premade hand image, but you want later switch it to other image, right click the second hand layer on the list on left side, pick swap media and browse to your desired image. (see first image in my first post)

Bravo Peter . Topic Bookmarked .

Thanks for the clarification.
Perhaps it’s not working as I’m on the beta version of WFS?
On mine, analogue hands doens’t have it’s own minute selection:

And when you go into the options to change it to seconds/sweep, it stops you from doing it CCW.

Oh Dear you are right . They really don’t want us to do that . So Sorry .

It must be possible though, because before I made this post I somehow managed to accidently glitch it to do exactly what I want. It had something to do with setting something, then pressing undo to get it to ‘accidently’ undo back to sweep even though it was on CCW. I just really wanted to know what I did by accident so I can reliably replicate it.

May be set it to CCW then select sweep / 15 Hz . I am not at my Laptop now . I could not test that .

Yeah nah, it automatically sets itself back to CW when you do this.

It could be they blended this option with new versions. I did not update on this PC.
I am really sorry if I misguided you, but on my WFS it works like I described.
Tonight it is too late to start my other PC, I can check tomorrow

All good, I appreciate you trying immensely!

They must have patched it out in the later versions!
