Watch Face Animation Helo

Hello all! I’d like to add a specific type of animation to my watch face, but the only way I can see it’d be done in the Studio helper is by creating 60 frames per theme set and I just don’t think that’s the easiest way to do it. I want a digital clock showing the minutes cycling through on the screen, the “Digital neon” face in Galaxy Wearable is a great example. How would I go about creating a similar animation that I could still apply the color palettes to?

I am not sure exactly what you are talking about . But if wanted to show a different image every second you could make thatcwork as a text element running [SEC] and make that text a Bit Mapped Font . A bit of a pain importing the images to the font up to 60 but once it is done you can use ir every where on yor Face .

Images sprak more then words!

This is the example I mentioned, the minutes slide upwards as they pass. So it would be 1 frame per minute if I had to make it a GIF

OK . I see . This is not animation . It can be done all sorts of ways . One way is to make a strip with the Numerals on Graphically and scroll it . It is possible to move the text numerals . That is a little more complex . I have seen it done on Facer . We can try a search with Vertically scrolling numerals .

I would not make the minute numbers scroll. If continual, it would have to either creep the whole minute, or move just in few last seconds, which with the dumbed down [MIN_SEC] tag would not look smooth.

I would just add two more fields with formula for minute before and after.
