Wearable OS watch faces can only be sold on Google Play?

My apology if I missed the memo about this. My Watch4 is paired with a Fold 3, Watch Faces category is gone from Galaxy Store home page and Wearable app’s store button takes you to Google Play, instead of Galaxy Store’s watch face section.

My guess is that paired watch determines whether Tizen watch faces cetology gets shown at Galaxy Store? Wear OS watch faces for Samsung watches can only be sold on Google Play?

Except for China which does not allow Google all Android based watch faces are sold through Play Store.
