WFS 1.9.5 New Component and compatibility issue with Wear OS 5.1

Hi all

I need some help with the latest WFS v1.9.5

I have a google pixel watch 2 and currently it is running Wear OS by Google 5.1

After installing WFS v1.9.5 and when I was trying out the new feature - Add Component - Photoslot and then to do a test run with Run on device - I have encountered the below:

I am assuming this is because the Wear OS 5.1 is not yet supporting SDK 36…. has anyone encountered the similar issue?

When I tried my other old projects without the new component, no issue at all, if I added the new component, same issue appears….

Does this mean that I need to wait for Google to release a newer version of the Wear OS for my google pixel watch 2?

Please advise…..

WearOS 6 is what’s necessary.

Understood, so I am assuming that none of the pixel watch (1,2,3) can use the new components in v1.9.5 at this stage until Google releases the newer version..?

I do believe this to be true as well.

I come from the future! Pixel Watch 2 has Wear OS 6 available however when clicking on the “open on phone” button on the watch, the (Pixel Watch Phone) app doesn’t do anything yet, so it looks like Google dropped the ball on that one. :frowning:
