I’m using Watch Face Studio with a Pixel Watch 3.
I can successfully add my watch to the connected devices when I click Run On Device, but after an hour or so, it disappears from the list of devices and I have to forget the pairing on my Pixel Watch, then re-add the device to Watch Face Studio.
It gets pretty frustrating after a while.
Anyone faced this and have a workaround?
Same thing with Samsung watch… sometimes connection lasts for few hours, sometimes for 30 minutes…
Very annoying.

Yeah I just had one that lasted about one minute 
Yeah this is how the power saving is set up . The WiFi connection is dropped zaadter a few minutes . You can set the watch up so the WiFi connection is Maintained while it is on Charge . I have a little routine where I toggle the ADB Debugging then the Wires Debugging . Then Run on Device . I have noticed a few seconds but no more between these is best . I have been on a Roll on Occasion then for no reason I need to do the Paring again after waiting 20 Seconds . good luck .

Watch has to be on charger.

I always work with the Watch on my wrist . I have to RE-Pair about one in 4 times . I just accept that as the bonus for having the files Local .
The solution was to simply have the watch charging and the wifi setting set to on when charging!
