Battery temp tags

How do I auto-switch between [BATT_TEM_C] and [BATT_TEM_F] depending on the user’s unit preference?

Thanks in advance!

Good question . Someone will no doubt have the answer . Can you not do a test . put them both on a face and change the user setting on your watch or phone .

Hi @russellcresser . Thanks for the reply - yes I tried it and it shows both at the same time. You would think that there should be one smart switch tag that could achieve showing only one depending an the user’s unit preferences…

Hey Listen I am sorry . I should have got back before . You could have it as a Style setting . Giving the option . It could be a feature of your face . With some other imperial Metric stuff . I am a mixed metric man myself . Degrees C and Miles per hour . So I end up making faces with those conversions on myself . I will try a test as well . Sadly we do not have screen taps like we did on GWD . However I hope it is on the cards in a future update .

Hi Russell - thanks for the tip. Yes, that is an option although it uses up some real estate on the watch face. Hopefully a smart tag will be added in the future to solve this…

Hi, if you use some of the “real estate” to describe the data, then you could hide one of the values behind description field and switch between images with different arrangement of the transparent and descriptive part like on this example

Hi Peter - thanks for the additional hint. I assume this would be implemented via ‘swap media’ or an animation. Is this correct?

This would use the change media on tap action

Maybe a feature request for new conditional line metric/imperial would be worth a try

Thanks for confirming, Peter - much appreciated. And yes, a new conditional line for metric/imperial would make this all much easier…
