The Exynos part is indicating it has BC texture compression support, but the device only exposes BC1-BC3. We only use BC4-BC7. This is an RDNA2-based part, and we’ve been using these BC formats across many platforms for many years. We have a fallback to ETC2 and ASTC, but I was hoping to move to BC textures going forward.
This is going to confuse apps that test for BC compression support, and expect all formats are a part of that
