[Doc Review Reject] CRITICAL: Install error/Unable to download app. Package corrupted, please rebuild and resubmit your app. Make sure the author certificate (.p12) is the same one used when the app was registered. If you lost your certificate and password then unfortunately you will have to create a new app ID with the new certificate and make sure you back up your *.p12 file and password for future version-ups and sharing. With a new Author certificate you need to create a new application ID (or vice versa) in the store and begin the certification process again. Then you have to drop the old application ID. - by Samsung Apps

  1. we created a new author cert
  2. we created a new registration
  3. we rebuild the app with unique app id and new cert
  4. we uploaded to store

we did this 4 times now and we are sure cert is new an unique, the app id is unique and the package id is new and unique still we keep getting this issue, how to solve this please

we also sent in a q&a ticket 1 week ago but seems nobody is responding

if you want a successful app store with developers supporting your apps you should make it more accessible and have a support desk that is really answering questions and tickets and give more detailed information why an app is rejected.

Are you using Samsung Author and Distributor Certificates, If you are using Tizen certificates you can not upload to the store. If you have more than one Distributor Certificate you can’t upload to the store.

If you are updating a current app you have to have the original Author’s certificate. Unless you saved the original Author’s certificate once you created the new Author certificate you can not update the app in the store.

If you have the original Author’s certificate and the Distributor Certificate is Samsung then to update

  • package ID is not same thing as file name. Package ID must remain same across all updates.
  • Change the version number for each new version, and make sure the newer one has a higher number.
  • once you build your project you will have a XXXXXX.tpk file - rename it directly through your file explorer, because file name MUST be different for each uploaded/updated binary.
