Hi! Why users cant download my watchface created in WatchFaceStudio without connected clock?

You do not need to own a watch and connect it to WFS to make and share the Files . It is very very difficult to Publish Faces on the Google Store if that is what you wan to do . But really making Faces on any Platform is about getting them on a Watch .

I created watchface in WatchFaceStuduo, published in Play Market , but users can’t download without connecting to watch . Why?

Curious, why would someone buy a face if they didn’t have a watch?

@yulia0736, when you are saying “Play Market” do you mean Google Play or do you mean some other third party app market site? If you are talking about Google Play, I’m having a difficult time figuring out what you mean when you say you are able to “Download” a watch face without a watch.

If you are browsing the Google Play Store on your phone or tablet, the watch faces do not run on those devices since they are designed for a wrist watch, so I’m having trouble understanding your meaning. Can you try to explain with a little more detail, or maybe add a screenshot of what you are doing?

I may be wrong about this, but if you are talking about the Google Play Store, I think if you don’t have a connected watch the store will tell you that the watch face is not compatible with any of your devices and the download/install option will not be available. I don’t think you can download watch faces from the Google Play Store without having a watch to use them on.

I just read something in another thread about the “Good Lock Plugin” for WFS. I don’t know anything about this, so I can’t offer any help with it, but it looks like maybe some phones can have a lock screen watch face? Maybe this is what you were thinking of?

Thanks for help , but it doesn’t work .
My problem , users don’t see the button download if they haven’t connected watch. For example when I found watchfaces in Google Play Store I can download anything watch face.
