I got an update to my Galaxy Wearable app . Now it seems like we can not clear the Cache . The trick for getting to the Factory settings does not work Either . The reason I am trying to do this is the Watch has Started to consume nearly twice the power it used before .
The grabs are form my watch . The pictures are from my Wife’s Phone . I wonder if any one else is having a similar experience . I should not think it is possible to roll back the One UI version .

If you want to clear the cache you can always pair to a new device (same as factory reset.)
Below is from my personal experience take it with a grain of salt.
After a system update the device “learns” and starts to optimize so if this is a recent update to the watch that may be why it is using more memory. This lasts about a month in my opinion, maybe less.
Do not charge your device unless it is below 30% and best to stop charging it at 90% (I thought that was an old wives tale but apparently it is true)
If you watch is really using a lot of memory make sure you have turned ADB debugging off that really sucks the memory. Location is off not so much but it does affect it.
Installing and uninstalling watch faces uses a lot of memory
If you have AOD on that will use a bit.
Turn on after motion rather than tap takes a bit but I think it is worth it.
btw Watch4 will be updated to One UI 5 sometime soon.

Thanks for that Prompt response Ron . Before this update . We would press and hold home and Back Button till Reboot showed then press Back button repeatedly to get a Clear Cache Option . It was not a factory reset . I had used it a couple of time .
I will take your advice . I tend to leave my watch set up for its connection to WFS . I know a sync Uses Power . Depending on the overhead of the Face it uses about 3% .
Will One UI 5 give us the option to CLEAN out Storage and Memory as Before ?
There is a trick … Take your watch off
Then press both buttons at the same time and hold them down.
Full reset is in the about watch scroll all the way to the end. It should back your data up to the phone if you are connected.

Holding the two buttons down does nothing but Reboot the Watch . GW4 Classic . The Latest Galaxy Wearable One UI 4.5 update does not have this trick .
Hi.
Maybe use ‘adb reboot’? It’s the quickest way.
Never did cache wipe with Galaxy watch. Hard to say if it’s possible in One UI 5.
