Incorrect data from Health connect in Samsung Health

After upgrading to S24+ my exercise data is not being correctly synced in Samsung health.

I use a Polar H10 to track my heart rate data during exercise, because there is no integration for this device in Samsung Health I use the Polar Beat app, Polar Beat has no Health Connect integration so I need to integrate it with Google fit, Google fit then writes to Health Connect where Samsung Health reads the data. Convoluted process but it worked properly on my S10e.

Samsung Health has all permissions on health connect, so does google fit. I installed the health connect toolbox via ADB (health connect toolbox) to check the data in health connect and the data is correct, so the issue is on the Samsung Health side. Is there a known bug for this on the S24 range?

I have uninstalled and re-installed Samsung Health, still have the same issue here.

Another bug that I came across on Samsung Health on both the s10e and the s24+ is that longer exercises read from health connect only syncs 16min and 40seconds worth of heart rate data, because of the very specific nature of the time in that bug makes me think its definitely a dev bug.

The exercise type for this bug is logged as other on Samsung Health or strength training on Polar Beat.

Two things come to mind One is in your watch you need to set sharing to services but I bet that is already done.

The other thing is the S24 One UI 6.1 has a lot of “security features” You might check them it is one of those things everyone agrees to without reading check your phones settings to see if it is blocking something.

Having said that you may want to use the Samsung Members community to see if they have any ideas, go to https://www.samsung.com and depending on your location
