It’s overview said “Accessory SDK only supports the GALAXY Gear (from January 2014 version), Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo, Gear S, Gear S2, Gear S3, Gear Fit 2 Pro, Gear Sports, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy watch Active 2 and Galaxy Watch 3.”

However, I wil use it for Galaxy watch 5. is it compatible? If not, what i should use
Galaxy Watch4 and newer are Wear OS (androidx) and you’d use the Android accessory SDK

Hi Ron, could you elaborate how to use Android Accessory SDK for Watch 4 and later?
@lys
That was a poorly worded response on my part. I put The instead of that’s
Samsung Android Accessory SDK is only for Tizen Studio based watch faces
For the Android Wear Watches you need to use Android Studio USB Accessories

Thanks Ron.
Also, may I ask, I develop an app that should identify if connected wearable is from Samsung, or other manufacturer therefore, should I use what kind of Samsung SDK to achieve that?

I really don’t know myself. I don’t think I can help you on this as the documentation is for the Tizen Based watches. You might ask on one of the other Android Developer forums
