Hello everyone,
I’d like to apply on the next window in mid June for theme making. So, I’m preparing to mock up my portfolios. But the problem is I have adobe cs5 installed in a 32 bit laptop, So I am using the previous reference template Theme_Design_Submission_Template.zip as the new Theme Studio Portfolio Starter Kit requires Adobe cc 2020 which needs 64 bit high system requirements which I currently can’t afford.
So, my question is, if its about showing skills can I work on previous theme template to represent the six screens ? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you
Here are some screenshots of my ongoing work
My previous works http://soumyathemes.blogspot.com/ if anyone wants to see. Thank you.
Here’s a ZIP file with the new template saved as a GIMP file, hopefully you can import this to see how it’s laid out?

Hello Sir, first of all thanks for replying, actually I am working with photoshop for more than 10 years & never used GIMP due to quality & weak pixel manipulation. I believe if I use gimp I won’t be able to show my creativity .
But in Photoshop I’m designing all the 6 screens almost same like the updated one. Just wanted to be sure & wish my portfolio not to get rejected just for the 1% different screen as I am really working hard for the portfolio .

Good luck I provided the GIMP format file because I thought you would be able to import it into 32 bit Adobe CS5 so you could see the format, sorry if you could already import the original format. Because you need to submit a PDF with the images you’ll loose resolution quality anyway…

Before you go and do a lot of work, I think I should warn you that you may not be able to work in a 32 bit system for Themes. Android platform recently added restriction of only supporting 64 bit architecture so it definitely will add restriction on theme designers as well.
I’ll ask around and see what the latest Theme Tool requires.

Thank you for your reply sir. I am planning to buy a 64 bit system as soon as I get selected as theme developer. Can’t risk my hard earned money before selection. I’m quite hopeful to show my photoshop skills in my portfolio in a 32 bit laptop. Also let me know if you get any information regarding latest theme tool requirements. Thank you.

Since I don’t use Adobe CS I don’t know if it can import sorry, I just assumed that it could… Would be strange to me if it couldn’t. You’ll see a lot of people comment lately about their rejections, so make sure you watch the videos and be unique

I was about to reply you, I have converted the gimp file to psd file & I can use it in adobe cs5. You are a life saver bro, thank you so much for this idea. Thanks a lot for providing me the gimp file.
Yes I know about the rejections also, hope to get tips from a senior like you.
