Opened GWD this morning, presented with option to upgrade to new version, which I did, however, it didn’t open when it said it would and doesn’t exist on hdd!
Anyone else had this problem?

Ok. So I wasn’t going mad! Said it would open after 5-10 seconds, but did nothing.
I found in folder where it was installed the … GalaxyWatchStudio.exe … 
Same here, and V2.0 isn’t listed on the installation page. https://developer.samsung.com/galaxy-watch-design/studio/overview.html
Just check the Folder where your “old” version was installed. The new version is installed. You just need to start the GalaxyWatchStudio.exe.

So you did get it working then? Are there any major updates?
Yes, it works. The update includes some improvements for UI and UX. But nothing where i would say it’s a game changer. 
My download remains at 0%. Does anyone have the same problem?
Hello, it seems that the digital clock option is not working on the new version. Correction, it works after changing the font! Strange.
They must have changed the shortcut instead of updating it.
Got it working. As you said, I had to go to the folder and send app shortcut to desktop
This has happened on every release for the past couple releases you need to restart the computer after updating.

You have to OK that it doesn’t have an SLL it is either hidden or blocked on your system You can probably manually download it.

As I understand it there is a lot changed internally and they want to be sure all is running great and the game changers will come out this summer.
No spoilers but they should be worth the wait.

Images are showing little blurry (on watch) when there are moving layers behind them. Last release without this particular issue is 1.7.1
Can you create a bug report and include a simple example that duplicate this. Also be sure you are using .png files and not .jpg files.
