Adding Complications with watch hands like a Chronograph Watch

Is there a way to add a watch hand instead of a progress bar to complications such as steps and watch battery to make it look more appealing like a chronograph watch face.

You can only change the progress bar of complications from circle to linear.

What you can do to get the effect you want is generate the arts and rotate the hand using the tags expressions

Is there any way to edit in more sophisticated way a watch face designed in Watch Face Studio?

Hi, the studio lets you do that. The documentation is not that detailed about how to do it. You have to insert the hand as image and then click the rotation field to set the initial value, then open the window with tags to write your expression. I just noticed for some reason the rotation pivot point coordinates are not described and keep showing some decimal values I did not set. [Tags] [Tags1]

But how do we use the data from a complication as part of an expression, ie. to rotate an image?

I dont think there was a way to convert these “external” complications into watch hands, but maybe somebody teaches us how to.

Sorry the question was “Adding Complications with watch hands like a Chronograph Watch… …such as steps and watch battery”. From that I thought about “complications” in meaning of traditional watch like chronograph, where it means integrated graphical feature to display any additional data besides time. WFS has ist integrated tags for both, watch battery and steps, without need of any external data source like those other meaning of complications.
