Can I just upload my Google Play version to Galaxy Store

A basic question.

I have a mobile app that I have uploaded to the Google Play store. It was uploaded as a bundle.
It is just a free app.

In order to upload my app to the Galaxy Store do I have to do anything special ?

Is there a tutorial or page I should read, I cant seem to locate it

a)
I assume it is just the apk version that is uploaded ?
b)
Is thete anything I have to integrate into the app for it to be in the Galaxy Store or can I just upload the same signed apk.

Welcome to the Samsung Developer forum!

To get started in Galaxy Store, you need to do the following:

1. Sign up for a Samsung account if you don’t already have one.
2. Register with Seller Portal.
3. Apply for commercial seller status. Even if your app is free, all Android app publishers must have commercial seller status. The preferred way is to apply using a DUNS number. If you cannot get a DUNS number in your country, you can submit business registration documents.
4. Review APK package naming and billing guidelines. Please note that .aab files are also supported.
5. Register your app in Seller Portal.
6. Review the App Distribution Guide, Intellectual Property Infringement Checklist, and Galaxy Self-Check List.
7. Set a publication date.

If you are a Themes, Icons, or Watch Face seller you do not need a DUNS number since those are closed ecosystems already. If you are an Android developer you will need to get a DUNS number and submit that to the Seller Portal for your Business Registration information.

If you cannot get a DUNS number in your country, you can submit business registration documents.

Thank you Konni, that is the info i was looking for.
I already have a commercial account, just wasnt sure if a needed a specially built .apk for the galaxy store.

One more question please,

If I have added the Google Licensing library, (LVL) I presume I need to deactivate that for the file being uploaded to the Galaxy store ?

Hi Krammig,

From a knowledgeable resource, he says that you should be able to upload your binary to Seller Portal even if it includes LVL. However, he recommends testing your app to see how it behaves. If you install your app from Galaxy Store, make sure nothing unexpected happens since you are using a library from a different install source.
