Please help if anyone has similar problem: failed to generating Author Certificate for TV with Tizen Studio 4.6 on Windows.

This is an issue that started Tuesday. Generally it is temporary but I have escalated this to the Seller Portal Ops team. Hopefully they can resolve it before the weekend.

Any timeline? I see the same issue in the other sub forums. Seems like no one is able to acquire certificates through any of the SDKs.
It seems to be affecting all Tizen related devices, Watch Faces, Watch Apps and Smart TV we have opened an incident report and hope to get an answer soon.

Any good news?
It’s already Monday.
Having the same issue, is there anything we can do to raise the visibility and urgency of this problem?
It’s really important for us to be able to create new certificates as soon as possible.
It is starting to look like this is an issue with the Tizen Development team not the seller portal. It was escalated to them Friday.
I should be copied on any email and will post when I get a response.

Still getting the same error here
Apparently when they fixed the Distributor Certificate time out they didn’t apply the fix to the Author Certificate. Is that what you are trying to generate? If you already have one you don’t need a new one you can use the first one.
If you don’t already have one, I reported this and hopefully they can fix it early next week. They should know what to fix.

I’m still getting the error when creating an author or distributor certificate… any further insight into this would be appreciated?
If I attempt to create a new author cert… it fails…
If I reuse my author cert and try to create a distributor cert, it still fails

Are you using the Samsung Tizen Author certificate or the Tizen Author Certificate. I"m not sure the system will precede with a Tizen Author Certificate.
We tested the Distributor Certificate but never tried the Author Certificate. Hopefully this is solved in a day or two. I’ll check on the status but won’t know until tomorrow.

We are using the Samsung Certificate. Even when I use my previous Author certificate, it will not let us create a new distributor certificate. This is preventing us from testing the app on an actual device. Thanks for your quick response… please keep us posted as deadlines are approaching.
You aren’t using Windows 11 are you? I can’t get it to work on Windows 11.
