Complications ignore WFS Placement and Font

Sup Y’all

I just finished my project on WFS for the first time in quite some time, haven’t made one since I got the GW7Ultra.

So I set everything up the way I wanted to, set a couple complications.

Heartrate without Icon, changed text to the font I like
Weather with Icon set directly on the side of the text
Steps without Icon, just Text with Font
Battery Percentage without Icon, just Text with the Font I wanted.

Loaded it up on my watch, every complication ignored my Icon placement as well as the Font. Icon got shown randomly even on the ones where I just wanted Text without Icon.

I have no clue what I did wrong, this usually worked for me. Please advise.

Seems you keep all the layout. Complication layout is automatically selected from the layout list as per the complication provider. So, if you want to set any specific layout, please keep it any delete other layout on the list.
Please check out this blog for better understanding: https://developer.samsung.com/sdp/blog/en/2022/09/20/things-to-consider-when-designing-complication-layouts

If you don’t understand what you need to do, please share a sample project where the issue occurs. We may help you.

Try deleting everything you don’t want. Leave only the one you want to use.
I think that will do it.

I tried using different types of workarounds, but what I found is this.

If the complication has a text, title and an icon, you need to select that short text and hide the title and icon to show text only.

same with complication that only has text and icon, select that short text and hide what you don’t need from it. Doesn’t matter if you only select text in the short text list, it won’t listen.

I’ll try deleting the other short texts next time, but this is annoying as hell and obviously a bug. This didn’t happen in previous versions afaik.

This is the correct way of doing it :+1:
Have been doing like this for 3 years+ now.
