I launch again this thread. Currently, I receive a “socked timeout!” error when I try to register a certificate author after to login me to my Samsung account. Could you take a look about that ?

I’m seeing “Socket Timeout!” issue while creating certificate profile - Connection Error - #21 by florian.malvoisin
Tried all way around (uninstall and installed Tizen studio again) and still looking for success.
Please let me know anyone find resolution. thanks.

I still have the “Socket Timeout” error popup in the MacBook and “Please check your proxy setting” error popup in Windows when I try to register a new certificate after login into my Samsung Account.
I checked with a sniffer and the https port 443 is not responding on the Samsung server 112.106.187.16
Looks like a general Samsung problem.

This happens often and I think it is when they change servers for security reasons. I’ll notify the store operations team. If it doesn’t connect tomorrow let me know and I will nag the store ops team again.

Hi everyone,
I don’t know if this has to do with the same thing, but I can’t generate the certificate for a demo face for about 50 TVs.
Here is a screenshot of the error message that it throws me.

→ Are you creating a new author certificate or updating the existing one?
→ are you trying to create tizen or samsung certificate?
→ If possible could you please share the video?

Adding more information about it,
It throws me the previous message both to generate the author and to update it.
The system I’m using is Windows 10 with Tizen Studio 5.0 and the latest package manager updates.
The certificate that I am trying to modify is from Samsung
I share the model of the TVs that I am trying to apply the demo.
Right now I’m not near a computer, when I’m closer I’ll share the video, but if I urgently need to solve this, that’s why I’ll share this info with you first

- Open Tizen Certificate Manager
- Click on the “plus” sign to create a new certificate
- Choose Samsung
- Choose TV (next)
- Enter a Certificate profile name (next)
- Choose the default “Create a new author certificate” (next)
- Enter “Author name”, “Password” and "Confirm Password (next)
- Popup: "please sign in yo your Samsung account (ok)
- After you sign in to your Samsung account you will find this ERROR POPUP

This is an timeout with the Store connecting to Tizen.org and is under investigation.

I am in desperate need of getting my Samsung Smart TV Certificate for TizenStudio. I have been trying for a week and trying on multiple different computers. As soon as I sign in to my Samsung Account, it says “Generation Failed - Socket Timeout,” when I use my Mac. When I use my window tablet, I receive the message, “Network Error - Please check your proxy setting. Your connection is behind the proxy server.”
My VPN is not turned on. PLEASE HELP! I don’t know what to do anymore. I would genuinely appreciate it.
