Every year it's the prolem when a new Android is released!

Every year it’s the same thing when a new Android is released! Everything is delayed! And themes are rejected due to errors that don’t even depend on the developer, but rather are problems in the GTS platform and it even gives the impression that the team that tests the themes doesn’t know about this and how the platform for creating themes (GTS) works, for example, some errors don’t depend on us developers.

An example is:
In the image below, the person didn’t approve my theme and claimed this:

Since they want the numbers on the lock screen time to be the SAME as the time on the home screen time widget!

And everything gets delayed, until it becomes demotivating.

Agree, the Theme testing team has no concept of logic or common sense. They do not even know how phones work, or what customers want.

This Lock screen rejection is the perfect example… they say it is not the same as on the phone! WAIT, all preview images are 16:9, last used on the Note 7, they haven’t used this screen ratio since 2016, so no phone looks like the preview screens.

No logic at all.

The use of 16:9 ratio is kinda understandable, considering how cramped previews would look when browsing through themes if the ratio of newer phone would be used. Though they could have at least updated the preview in the GTS, it’s a confusing that some ui would show the full navbar and status bar, while the others won’t.

Had to agree how absurd the review system is. The suggested ways to fix the issues upon the rejection of themes are sometimes beyond what the tool could perform.

Most probable cause is the limitation of staffs who conduct these tests. Or their lack of experience, when navigating through OneUI. This is somehow backed with the evident delays in those tests and the prominent rejection of themes. With the start of 2025, a single theme takes around 2-3 weeks to be approved. Though still hoping that a fix would be issued for all these problems.

9:16 makes sense because they look good and it stay somehow in the middle between the narrower (filp) and wider (fold).

I think that it adds to the aparent chaos the fact that they imposed the rule with the update of 2 os versions and they notified that we should update the themes ideally by April 30th. That means probably tens of thouhsands of extra themes to test in these 3-4 months. Priviously I updated the themes with the biggest sales only, maybe a quorter of them in more then half an year. Now they need to also test the fails which made 2 sales only (unfortunatelly that happens occasionally).

Now I receive this error to export

Now I get this error when exporting a theme!
Before, it gave an error with images on the keyboard, switches and other places, and now it gives an error when exporting! And it’s not just in one theme that I’m updating, it gives an error in the others!
This is discouraging!

No problems here. Clear cache or try using incognito browser

Me too.
And I cleared the cache and used incognito browser, but it didn’t work.
Please advise me more. Thanks in advance.
