Getting Samsung Distributor Certificate

Because the team that developed has been disbanded for 4 years. I’ve asked that they put a big warning notice up but so far haven’t found anyone to authorize it. GW3 was and is one of my favorite watches I totally understand…

its just unfortunate that samsung blocks IE from accessing their login page.

Everyone blocks it since Microsoft stopped support for it last year it is considered a security threat. There is a work around using Tizen Studio to genarate the certificates and an old tizen Fit installer to sideload the .tpk it seems complicated but is a solution.

I also had the problem that my watch face suddenly disappeared from one day to the next. With the date set back to 2023, the designer accepted my saved certificates etc. again and installed the watch faces. My question? How long will this last? Only a year? Do I have to do this annually now?

I followed this instruction to make the .p12 author certificate, but it didn’t make the Distribute Certificate. And when I try to Build a watchface in GalaxyWatchStudio using the author cert I made, it says:

“signing fail
keystore password was incorrect”

I know the password I’ve typed for the author cert IS correct because I can’t even click the “Build” button until I put the right password in.

I have the same problem

is there any way to revive GWS for gear s3 frontier?

Please tell me how you did it

Thank you.

Painful process - but I finally got it to work.

btw, with the latest fit2installer download, even if your project has a SPACE in the name - it seems to handle it.

Also, after a successful install, you need to restart the watch.

Again, thanks for the post.

Worked like a charm! My Fit2Installer was a little different. I had only one batch file. (Me.bat) Actually made the process easier. Thank you! Upgraded my android and couldn’t figure out how to install my watchfaces.
