Health connect vs Samsung health SDK

  1. I know that users can manually download their personal health data from the Samsung Health app, but I want to develop an application that automatically sends users’ health data to a data storage system with their consent.

If I want to use PCG, ECG, heart rate, sleep, and oxygen saturation data, what is the difference between using the Health Connect API and the Samsung Health SDK?

It seems like the name of the Samsung Privileged SDK has been changed to something else. However, I still want to understand the key differences between the Health Connect API and the Samsung Health SDK in terms of data granularity.

If the Samsung Health SDK provides more detailed data, why would people choose to use the Health Connect API instead?

  1. Additionally, what is the data retention rule for downloading or saving data from the Samsung Health app? If I have 11 months’ worth of data, can I download all 11 months’ worth of data? How does this compare to using the Health Connect API?

  2. I have downloaded health data, which includes both CSV and JSON files, from the Samsung Health app and would like to know the JSON schema for sleep_raw_data.

Hello,
Currently Samsung Health SDK partnership is not available, but you can request via website, team will analysis the request.
You have to collect health app data via Health connect API.

Samsung Priviliged Health is currently named as Samsung Health Sensor SDK.
Samsung Health Sensor SDK and Samsung Health SDK are different.
