I think it’s time to increase the icon resolution for tablet phone like Z Fold. The upscaling algorithm doesn’t work well, as result icons look fuzzy on Z Fold 3. It’s not a good 1st impression for a flagship device.
Note, degradation of icon is much more noticeable only with Galaxy Themes. The icons from default theme in Z Fold 3 don’t suffer from the same degradation.

144x144 is a small dimension for today’s standards. There are many ways to optimize and keep a small file size while increasing icon dimensions
Not sure how it all works; yes the icon tray is 144x144, however I use an actual icon size of 600x600 for all my icons. Do not know if they are more clear on the Fold3 or if the default icons are actually 144x144.
Interesting, I didn’t know you could do that with icon files. I’ll play with it tomorrow and post the findings here.
Increased resolution makes no difference in sharpness. Fold 3 is still blurrier than Note10+. I don’t think display ppi has anything to do with the blurriness, because text in app title is sharp on all three displays. My guess is that Fold 3’s upscaling algorithm needs to be improved.

Correction: Second row is Fold 3 outer, last row is Fold 3 inner.
I think it is a firmware issue with the scaling on Fold Devices yet. in 2017 was the Icon Size 192x192 and they reduce it to 1144x144 since Android O as i know. But it think it was not the decision from Samsung itself, maybe due Android Requirements
