Incredible

How is it possible for two AOD mode watchfaces with EXACTLY the same definitions, measurements, font types, etc. look different on the watch?
And above all, how is it possible that what appears on the app screen is not exactly the same as what is shown later on the clock?
How is it possible that other platforms allow the status of the cell phone battery to be displayed on the clock and yet Samsung does not allow it when it is supposed to be used in watches that they know perfectly?
How is it possible that several displays cannot be used together while on other platforms they do not present any type of problem?
Great mysteries of humanity.

Are you saying you have two watch faces with the same AOD mode but they look differently when ran on the same watch or look differently from the GWS preview window? GWS preview window is not WYSIWYG

And above all, how is it possible that what appears on the app screen is not exactly the same as what is shown later on the clock?

If you are talking about the preview Window they never look exactly the same

They use an emulator and a companion app and on the mobile phone. GWS developed apps are standalone.

How is it possible that several displays cannot be used together while on other platforms they do not present any type of problem?

See above

Great mysteries of humanity.

Hello Ron, the wear app and wear plugin that need to run on phone do not count as companion app? Why can those not forward the phone info to the watch? GWS is Samsung tool, wear is Samsung app, there is all needed already in one house I think.

That’s exactly what I mean. I like to have all my AOD,s equal.

Not in my case or in my computer. Thanks for your answer but

Thanks for your reply but I am not too satisfied with the GWS application. At least not long enough to give up Facer, the one I’ve been using.

Companion Apps are master slave type of apps. Android app controls Tizen app or vice-versa.

The Wearable app is more of a conduit. While it can change the watch face or in some cases such as preinstalled watch faces customize them. It does not require a companion app on the watch. GWS does not create companion apps The watch faces are standalone.

If you save as a custom complication they should be all the same.

However different Smart watches may run different versions of Tizen so things might appear slightly different. GWS does not run on an emulator like Facer watch faces.

I still think Samsung has all tools needed, no matter how they are called. The software running on watch cooperates with wear app on phone, so if it can transfer or adjust watchfaces, if it can send weather & s-health info from phone to watch, if it can show the battery % of watch on the phone, it can for sure transfer one more info in opposite direction (from phone to the watch) if Samsung would be willing to make the change.
