Not compatible with your device

Hi,

I’ve been publishing Wear OS watch faces on the Play Store for years. Normally, I’d get the occasional report about compatibility issues, but in the last couple of weeks, about 50% of my customers are seeing “This app is not compatible with your device” even though their watches should be supported.

I know downloading from the Play Store web can help in some cases, but that’s not a great solution for a watch face.

Is anyone else facing this? Any ideas on the cause or a real fix?

Are they facing this in older wearOS versions only?
