Is the hands set to sync to device?
Btw what the language u using on the watch.
Is the time on pc and watch same?

Wrong time problem:
I made a basic mistake, all the hand have to be pointing at 12 when I click Run on Device.
Now it is showing correct time.
So I got there at last, but what a painful process!
Maybe all these little quirks and got-chas could be documented in one place so that other newbies don’t have to go through all this. In this respect, the supplied guides and documentation are seriously lacking.

They have to be at 0 degree Rotate Angle in the work window but they can be at any time in the preview window. Did you mean the work window?

It seems to me that this is the way for all Android development. The support people have some blogs but the documentation could use more detail.
