I am trying to create a Tizen web application but facing problems with certificates.
Here are the issues:
1. Tizen Certificate Profile:
When I click on “Tizen” on the left to create a certificate profile and complete all steps, I cannot click “Finish” on the last step (you can see in the attachment [if you have one]). I have to exit this part.
2. Samsung Certificate Profile with DUID:
If I choose the “Samsung” option and complete all steps, the DUID of my connected device appears. But when I click “Next” after getting the DUID, I get a “Network Error - Your connection is behind the proxy server” message. I don’t have a proxy server.
3. Application Installation Issue:
If I continue and create the certificate without adding the DUID, it is created successfully. However, when I try to install this signed .wgt file on my device (either via USB or server), I get an “installation file not found” error.
I have already tried changing network settings, making sure Java 8 is correctly set up, and reinstalling Tizen Studio. My device is connected to the same Wi-Fi as my PC, and I can ping it.
Could you please help me understand why I am getting these errors and how to fix them?
Thank you for answer. My application works when I run it using “Run as” from Tizen Studio. However, on my TV, I get an “installation file not found” error when I try to install it.
Is there any way to run this application on the TV right now, or is this error related to the current certificate issues? Am I making a mistake somewhere else?
Hello,
The issue has been fixed. You have to install updates from Package Manager to resolve the issue.
Go to Tizen Studio < Tools < Package Manager, then click on “Updates available”
After updating successfully, check the issue again. It should be solved. But if the problem persists, please let us know.
