Hi Ron,
As Samsung announced, until February 28, if the seller could not change the account to Corporate Commercial Seller, their application could be suspended or terminated. To create a company is very complicated, we spent a lot of time and cost to do this: we have to hire accountants, monthly tax reports, and pay all kinds of fees. But now, many sellers do not need to do anything, their application still exists.
Why? Is Samsung notice a joke? Please explain this.
Best Regards!
As I explained many times corporate is simply a legal term for a business or company, you do not need to incorporate.
I do not know how it works in all Nations but for many you simply go to the local government office (County Clerk in the USA) and file a DBA (doing business as) and pay a very small fee. This allows you to set up a bank account using that business name.
In Vietnam for example
In order to do business in Vietnam, you have to register your company to the authorities to get permission and license to operate. This registration process usually takes place at the Business Registration Department of the Provincial or City Office of Planning

Hi Ron,
Let’s not talk about our efforts anymore, because we have already done it. I would like to know Samsung’s plan for other inappropriate sellers, their apps still exist, will you guys take no action against them? If Samsung Portal doesn’t suspend their applications, can we give up the Corporate Commercial Seller? Because we have to pay many expenses, many taxes to maintain the company.
You are a big global company, I don’t think your statement is just funny. You put in place a policy that makes all developers do everything to meet deadlines, everything from cost, time, effort; And you didn’t keep your promise.
Best Regards!
As I understand it and I’m not a lawyer but reading the terms and conditions there has to be a reasonable time before they can remove the content. There is no legal definition for reasonable time.
The term they use is must be in compliance or risk termination is talking about the seller partnership not the app.

Hello Ron,
I hope you’re doing well. I am currently facing some issues while trying to publish a new app of mine. A few months ago, I successfully published the same app on the Play Store. However, now, when I attempt to publish it on the Galaxy Store, the review team claims that the logo and branding used in the app are copyrighted.
In response to their initial rejection, I resubmitted the app with substantial proof, clearly demonstrating that the logo and branding are entirely my original creations and that I am the rightful owner. Despite my efforts, I received the exact same response, stating the same copyright reasons for the rejection.
Feeling quite perplexed and uncertain about how to proceed, I made an appeal to the developer support team. Unfortunately, they directed me to explain my situation in the “comments to the review team” section, which I had already done during the initial submission. Yet, even after providing these explanations, the app was once again rejected.
I find myself at a loss, not knowing what further steps to take to resolve this matter. I firmly believe in the authenticity of my logo and branding and wish to proceed with publishing my app on the Galaxy Store without any copyright issues.
If you have any suggestions or insights on how to address this situation effectively, I would greatly appreciate your guidance. Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards
Yes this happens a lot if it has play protect. Is that the issue it it is the Developer support team should be able to help but you have to tell them that. If it is not the Play Protect let me know.

it does have play protect, and the reason for rejection is showing blocked by play protect even though I used a different package and different signing key this time for the registration, I just used the same app icon and screenshots. how can I contact the developer support team?
how can I contact the developer support team?
Open a Developer Support Request
For the subject use
I am a Developer and need assistance from the developer support engineers
Do not use the seller portal subject.
If they won’t or can’t help you please reply here and I can ask the Store Ops team.

I tried they couldn’t solve it, now I just changed the package name and created a new app icon and screenshots just to release to the galaxy store, now there seems to be another problem, they rejected the app saying that it’s highly-priced,I am using openAI’s API which is 0.0002 per API request, so I set the price to 39.99USD, how can lifetime access to an app with an API cost this high be considered unreasonable? I even tried to read the distribution guide to see how much I can lower the price but the guide didn’t mention any specific price which is considered to be high, this is absurd, can’t even release my play store apps here, and can’t even set the price, can’t even know which specific price is too high, I went into the trouble of getting a commercial seller for nothing
You should consider a subscription rate or use an In App Purchase.

Hi Ron,
I’ve been working on releasing another paid version of my app, which is available on both the Galaxy Store and Google Play. However, I’m facing the same old issue this time too. The release is being rejected with the same old problem, stating that it’s ‘blocked by Play Protect.’ Unlike previous attempts, I can’t modify the screenshots and app icon this time. The reason is that the free version on the Galaxy Store has been using these graphics for the past 2 years.
I would appreciate it if you could reach out to the Store Ops team for assistance. The developer support team hasn’t been able to resolve this issue in the past. Your help with this matter would be really valuable.
Thanks.
Unfortunately this is literally accurate they really cannot install the app to test it. I recall there is a solution but not sure if it was through Google Play or not.
I’ll ask around, Play Console docs say it is allowed.

I got an answer already
Google Play Protect pop up is caused by Google security policy (OS). Galaxy Store cannot control this message.
As part of Galaxy Store review process of your app, Certification team will test the installation of the app in a device. If the pop up is displayed, the team cannot ignore this message and distribute your app to the store because it will be cause a bad user experience. If any user tap Ok once on any device then it won’t be possible to install the app. Users strongly trust Play Protect message.
In order to change this behavior please file an appeal with Google so Play Protect does not flag your app: App verification - Play Console Help
Once you have done so, then the Play Protect pop up should not show. You can resubmit your app to Galaxy Store by then.
And I found a thread that has the form to fill out and the member said it worked within 5 minutes.
