Have you got earlier any app suspended by google? i got suspension 2 times of 2 times. later i stopped using companion app.
also share your live watch face to see it is accessing by 3rd party user or not
I have no idea about the reason for the termination. There have been suspensions due to a temporary unavailable “privacy policy” few months ago. All watch faces have been created in the official WFS.
Your account is not being suspended due to the watch face.
The suspension reasons might be as follows: you are adding external links to the companion app, including images unrelated to the shared watch face, adding texts or images aimed at promoting your app, and not providing any Privacy Policy link. Additionally, you are not updating your companion app with the latest libraries. Pay attention to these reasons.

Unfortunately, if you only publish the watch face, your sales will drop to almost zero. The Play Store app sees your phone as the default device when searching, meaning it only shows apps compatible with your phone. In this case, your watch face will not appear in the search results for users. (It’s completely ridiculous.) As a result, your watch face will disappear on the Play Store.

Is there a way to suspend only the companion applications? I think wear os 5 simplifies the installation of watch faces, and the watch faces are also visible in the store without companion apps, so maybe from now we don’t have to use a companion apps.
This is how the companion app I use looks. So far, I haven’t had any issues. But of course, that doesn’t mean I won’t have any in the future. You never know with Google

I tried it a few days ago. I only uploaded the watch face. Due to the reasons I mentioned above, it was not listed in the phone app search without the companion app. However, it is listed in the web version.
Additionally, sections like ‘buy one get one’ or similar ‘Rate and comment’ that you include in the images or description added to the Play Store are against privacy policy rules; please pay attention to this as well.

Yes, external links pose potential risks. My recommendation is to explain this to users through a pop-up window within the app.
I asked Gemini about external link. Replied that it does not violate the rules as long as it is not misleading and if I specifically describe what it contains.
I noticed two important points when reviewing your companion app. Firstly, the link you provided does not open within the app, which violates Google policy. Additionally, your privacy policy is insufficient (not sure about this.).
I can’t find any mention in the Google Play Developer Policy that external links are against the rules. Which section of the policy is referring to the external links?
I read it a few months ago. The rules may or may not have changed. I don’t know. But why take the risk? After all, the companion app doesn’t bring any benefit to you. I think the safest way is to prepare it in the simplest way without taking any risks.
Hi if my reply helps anyone having issues with companion app approvals. I use a companion app always with my watch faces since last 4 Years.
I have recently in last 2 x months updated around old 90 watch faces with companion app updated for each one of them.
Its based on source code shared by Bredlix at github many thanks to him for it. 1st version which was without even Privacy Policy Tab.
My app privacy policy is hosted on my blogspot.com visible in Data Safety Section in Google Playstore as shown in above my screenshots.
I have not faced a single rejection on companion apps for all 90 watch faces i have updated. Since my companion app is approved without any issues. I have made no change in it . I could add links to website and add promotions.
But what i have seen and read above i think Google doesn’t like external links. So i wont take a risk on working companion app that has never been rejected .
Your watch face wont reach top charts or even be visible in Phone PlayStore App.
Because If you dont use a companion app it will never make to Google Playstore promotions or every in Top charts list however wonderful the watch face is . it will never appear for a common user who searches watch faces on Phone Playstore App.
Unless the user knows how to select watch only tabs in phone playstore app. knows installation methods without companion app.
And when a common users sees the message this app is not compatible with your device . User will simply give up and turn away to other easier installion options and watch faces.
I for example 4 years ago as a user myself learned how to install watch faces from web browser pc, phone browser pc, install directly via install dropdown button . its a bit tedious for a basic user. Many users learned how to install after buying a wear os watch.
The installation method is pretty complexed for basic user and Google and Samsung should have fixed this . Its been 4 Years now that watch4 seires came out

Any watchface made by any developer in Samsung Watch Face Studio that has more than 5 customization options with extensive background changes or more number of Hour and minute hand styles will result in force closing of customization via Galaxy Wearable app.
I have also seen a lag of 4 to 5 mins from AoD to Main Display on all watchfaces made in Samsung Watchface Studio by many developers including Top Developers.
When there are more than 7 x customization options more hand styles , background styles are used this also can happen.This doesnt happen on Stock Samsung Watchfaces which the users usually quote have no issues.
And its bad because if we dont add customizations what good is a bland ,dumb wachface with literally no customization options.
What they dont know is that stock faces are made in Android Studio and not Samsung watch face studio . So lesser restrictions and more customization options some of which are not available on Galaxy Watch face Studio.
Customization via watch directly has always worked from Day 1 with 0 issues. This should have been fixed by Samsung or Google way long time back.
