Does Sweep work with WFS?

Is the Sweep function, the one where the face looks like a radar screen with a colored sweep like a second hand with trailing edges, possible with WFS? Did some digging around be can’t find anything that looks like it. (This thing is more difficult to understand than a teenager!)

Hi, did you mean something like this?

It is possible with right image source for the second hand. WFS will not draw it for you.

I have a pair of nice Polar Fades but they are on my Laptop . I will post them in a bit . Might have to be Zipped up .

Listen Sorry @rog1598215254 . I can not help myself . I made a test rather than writing a book about it . You have to use your own Tag if you want the sweep to run faster than 1 min per rev . This file is a Fake ZIP . If you want to run it convert the extension to wfs . If you just open it you will see the resources in the res folder . It is a bit choppy on my GW4 . Someone like @Peter may be able to get it a bit smother . May be using the Unix Timer .

Thats EXACTLY what I’m looking for! Only blue. So… not exactly but pretty much?

You can change the Colour and Opacity to exactly what you want because the resource is White . But I am afraid I jumped into this feet first . It actually looks like shit on my GW4 . Not very smooth at all . If that was your question . I will look to see if I can make it smoother . I am wondering if the recourse/image is less pixels it might be smoother . Samsung get their seconds to work smooth but will not let us . YET ?

Thanks! I found this pretty difficult to do on GWS. Never quite got it right but nobody would notice except me.

Well done . You could show us if you wanted to by posting the WFS file here . Just change the file extension on a copy to .zip .

Here’s the watch face I had. I haven’t been able to convert this to work with WFS yet and, as you can see, the quality isn’t real good. There’s a much better one on the market but it has too many complications for me. This has Weather, Calendar, Calories Burned and that’s it. Again, this is for a Tizen watch and just a draft. I deleted GWS and started from new with WFS to learn the process. Still learning the sweep thing.

If you want some help just say .

Oh I do! I’ve been playing with GIMP but that seems needlessly complicated. You see what I want to do… do I have to do that on another program and import or is there a way inside WFS?

OK . So I am not certain where you are stuck . Yes GIMP is a GIMP . But I had to used it because the other package I use would not make nice sweeps . I assume that is where you are stuck . So I have posted two sweeps AC / CW earlier in the Topic and a Beam Bar . Easy to miss because they are white on white . So let me know if it is that sort of thing you need . I got a Tutorial from Youtube to learn how to do it . Also I have also posted the test in a Zipper . But it is a Fake Zipper to allow its posting here . You download it and change the zip to wfs . That then is the file that runs on WFS . So then you have a working example of how it works . It looks choppy on the in the STUDIO but looks ok on the watch .
If you wanted me or another to Inspect your work you could post your Face here the same way . You just delete wfs and put zip in its place .
I have already forgotten how the sweep works . I will go back and see . I have been having some fun on GWS . Ha Ha .

Hey . Nice face By The Way .

Because the Resources I have posted are White you can have them one of any of the 6 Million colours available . If you wanted to we could work on Having them change over the day Hour minute or second .

Sorry I did not include this Blip originally . I this quite good fun for all sorts .

Thanks! Im also working on gradients with a couple other apps but havent gotten there yet. I’ve given up in frustration for today (maybe) and am drinking bourbon on the deck. Its a fair alternative, i think.

I saw this and thought of you while I was Trawlin FB . Sadly there was no link . Bourbon is a Stiff competitor of Smart Watch Face Making .

If you are Intrested .this is the Link . My recommendation would be to make something that looks a little different .

That’s my inspiration (the watchface, not the bourbon.) My complications are different as are my fonts but the look is very similar. However it’s only for personal use.

Exactly . I saw it on FB . I thought it was amazingly coincidental but that is probably were you saw it as well . Have you been able to download the resources and check out the Inspectable File . I understand you wanting to crack it on your own .
I made a comment and posted a Wrist shot on FB but no response .

No. Im not nearly that adept. Seriously I just play around with GWS/WFS to see what faces i can gin up to make my own watch look cool! Ive wasted far too much time trying to get this radar second hand to work but now its pissed me off. But Im just a rube.

Where did you post on FB?

This is a link to th Post I contributed to , there are so many Galaxy Watch Pages .

Please try and run The Test I posted . I think that watch just ran the Sweep as a Second Hand . It is more about a Nice Graphic . Try send us a wrist shot or Screen Grab to Illustrate your Issues . it should not be a problem it is just another Hand . I use Image layers for this sort of thing . The Hand Layes do not like being meddeled with . If you opened my Test you woul see all that .

Wee are all newbs till we stop altogether .All of us are,Learning all the time .
