If I understand correctly, that’s referring to the time before Tizen-based watchface apps are discontinued. What happens after the discontinuation? Will existing apps need to be continuously updated at least once every three months to maintain the pledge?
All you have to do is update two apps every 3 months to keep your entire portfolio active. I would assume that at some point in time the sales of Tizen based watch faces is going to be so small it isn’t worth a seller to keep updating watch faces but that would be the seller’s decision not Samsung.
I got a very seller sympathetic impression from the discussion.

Understood, thanks for your assistance.
Will updating minor things like the price for two apps for example, be enough to count as an update to keep the portofolio active or more than that will be needed.
Prices to not trigger a review but a product description does or just uploading the same binary with a newer version number. Do not use GWS 2.0.1 to build a new version. I’m
How to update
- package ID is not same thing as file name. Package ID must remain same across all updates. You can see the package ID in the Build window in GWD. Leave that alone!
- version number is just below that - CHANGE it for each new version, and make sure the newer one has a higher number.
- once you build your project you will have a XXXXXX.tpk file - rename it directly through your file explorer, because file name MUST be different for each uploaded binary.

I just update the content, then update the binary device list, because it is always missing devices. Put in the comments that it is a binary update only, and the review will be quick.
